About West Falmouth Veterinary Clinic
Dr. Gordon Olmsted received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and a master's degree in parasitology from the University of Illinois. He then served two years for the Peace Corp in Mali, West Africa. Dr. Olmsted then attended the French speaking University of Montreal where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1984. Fluent in French, he returned to Africa to serve as a Peace Corp trainer in Zaire, teaching Peace Corp volunteers basic veterinary care in developing countries.
Dr. Olmsted worked at full service veterinary hospitals and did emergency work at an emergency clinic before opening the business in 1994. Our goal is to provide quality primary care for your pets.
